ENHANCE – Enhance girls

The project will help the partner organizations to create supportive communities less prone to discrimination allowing the cross-fertilization of cultural norms, necessary to (a) address barriers and stereotypes that lead to gender inequality and (b) foster a more organized support to ensure girls and young women’s inclusion.
The project has a focus on capacity building the partners from the non-EU countries drawing lessons and experiences from the EU based partners and the European Commission’s work on promoting and implementing gender equality. According to a recent report by UNICEF, the situation of girls and young women in the 3 NON-EU countries is heavily influenced by cultural norms of their communities and a lack of quality education.

The project will also pilot its results among the consortium and their stakeholders and pursue a multiplier effect for the enhancement of youth work at a pan-European level. During the project, the participants will receive CPD certification for undertaking the project’s educational and capacity building activities.
The project will implement a series of activities structured in different work packages, including research into current practices in youth leadership, the development and pilot testing of new inclusive methodologies, and a broad dissemination strategy. These activities will range from the exhaustive analysis of existing challenges to the creation and validation of innovative tools and approaches, ending with the dissemination of results and training of youth sector professionals.
The project is expected to generate innovative methodologies for youth leadership, a compendium of good practices, and an online platform for knowledge exchange. Additionally, an increase in the quality and effectiveness of youth work is anticipated, greater inclusion and participation of youth in the proposed activities, and an expansion in the reach and impact of the organizations involved through the adoption of the developed methodologies.
The Consortium will convene on three occasions at various partner locations throughout the Project's Lifetime!
The second Meeting will take place in Skopje, North Macedonia in April 2026.
