ENHANCE Project Closing Meeting Held in Cairo
The Social Peace Association for Environment and Development (SPAED) hosted and sponsored the closing meeting of the ENHANCE project, an initiative dedicated to promoting the full social integration and empowerment of young women.
Funded by the European Union, the ENHANCE project brings together partners from Europe and the Middle East, including RJ4ALL (Cyprus), Framework (Italy), EUNOIA (North Macedonia), Al-Awn Association (Jordan), Al-Balawneh Association (Jordan), and the Itij Center (Morocco).
The closing meeting took place on 17–18 September 2026 at the Flamenco Hotel in Zamalek, Cairo, bringing together project partners to review achievements, discuss the remaining activities, and prepare for the final stage of implementation.
The meeting began with a warm welcome from SPAED to the participating delegations arriving from across the European Union and the Middle East. During the first session, Dr. Theo from RJ4ALL presented an overview of the project’s progress and results achieved so far.
Following this, Dr. Eric presented the requirements and priorities for the upcoming phase, outlining the responsibilities and expected contributions of each partner as the project approaches its final conclusion at the end of October 2026.
Valeria from Framework then presented the key requirements and actions expected from all participating countries, ensuring that partners have a common understanding of the remaining tasks and deliverables.
The first day of the ENHANCE closing meeting provided an important opportunity for partners to reflect on the progress made throughout the project, coordinate the final activities, and strengthen cooperation ahead of its completion.
The meeting continued on 18 September with further discussions on the project’s final activities and next steps.
