EUNOIA recently organized a workshop as part of the project “Empowering Future Integrity Leaders in School Education.” This initiative brought together teachers, parents, and pupils/students in a collaborative and engaging setting. Two specialized trainers from Greece conducted the workshop, which took place at the High School of Saraj in Skopje. A total of 20 participants attended the event, which lasted approximately 3.5 hours.

The primary goal of the project is to promote integrity, which is the cornerstone of building relationships and trust. Integrity is recognized as one of the fundamental values in Europe, and this workshop aimed to instill this value in the context of school education.

The workshop featured scenario-building activities designed to inspire creativity and forward-thinking among participants. Drawing inspiration from “Futures Studies,” these sessions encouraged attendees to envision what “Integrity (in) Education in 2040” might look like. The workshops provided a fun, hands-on experience in strategic foresight and scenario-building, allowing students, teachers, and parents to come together to imagine various futures.

Throughout the workshop, participants evaluated eight major megatrends, developed creative scenarios, and engaged in vibrant discussions about the potential outcomes. The focus was on teamwork, innovation, and enjoying the process of shaping the future. This approach not only made the workshop educational but also highly enjoyable for everyone involved.

The scenario-building activities encouraged participants to think big about the future of integrity in education. By fostering an environment of creativity and collaboration, the workshop aimed to empower future leaders with the tools and mindset needed to uphold and promote integrity in their communities.

Overall, the workshop was a significant step towards achieving the project’s objective of fostering integrity among young people. By engaging teachers, parents, and pupils in meaningful discussions and activities, EUNOIA is helping to build a foundation of trust and ethical behavior that will benefit society as a whole. The event was a testament to the power of collaboration and innovation in shaping a better future for education.
